Overview
Second-hand shopping isn’t really shopping. It’s a treasure hunt. The French call it une pépite — a gem, a forgotten piece that suddenly becomes the piece. Finding one is a thrill: part detective work, part dopamine, part style adventure.
THE PROBLEM — you can’t picture the fit
Most listings show the item flat, on a hanger or on the floor. Either it no longer fits the seller, or they simply don’t want to be in the photo. So the buyer is left guessing how it actually falls, drapes and sits on a body.
What happens next: you leave the app, Google the piece, scroll reference images, compare — and by the time you come back, the pépite is gone.
THE IDEA — one button: SEE IT WORN
A frictionless in-app fix. When a listing has no worn photo, AI sources visually similar real-life outfit images from the web and surfaces them inside the listing, behind a single button: See it worn. No tab-switching, no lost pépite.
- Objective — let buyers visualise how an item looks worn when the seller hasn’t provided the images.
- Functionality — AI matches the listing to similar items and displays real-life photos of people wearing them.
- Confidence score — an “AI Match Confidence” percentage keeps the match honest and transparent.
THE CAMPAIGN — From somewhere, styled by someone.
A print and out-of-home series built on vintage postcards: every pre-loved piece already had a life somewhere, worn by someone. The front carries the outfit in the wild; the back — the message side — carries the garment and the call to action.
OUT OF HOME, IN YOUR HANDS
Scaled up on city walls, the postcard becomes an invitation: a piece from somewhere, styled by someone, one tap away from being seen worn.
